Yep, still not finished yet…

I know many have been asking when the next book is coming out and I’ve been saying ‘Soon’ for quite a while. The truth is as much as I want to publish the next Chronicles of Eden book, and I do, it’s still not ready for public consumption yet despite my constant work on it. The ending is still being tweaked and edited to suit the break-off point for this Act and to balance all the big moments that unfold during it, and so far it hasn’t met my standards of what I’m aiming for with the series progression. The artwork is nearly done, but the story itself needs more work before it’s ready to deliver what the readers want and expect out of it. So I’m sorry to everyone who have been grinding their teeth in anticipation for this release, I know I was originally planning for fall and now we’re in the middle of winter. If I were to publish the book now it would involve rushing the story too fast or flat-out chopping the ending off and waiting another book to finally get to Daniel’s reunion with the Gemini, and I’m not doing either of those. We’re going to have our reunion, we’re going to have our heroes come face to face with what’s happening in Eden, and we’re going to have one of Daniel’s most profound standout moments in the series to date. It’s going to be beautiful, it’s going to flow properly, it’s going to hit the readers hard, and it’s going to be awesome. With that I hope you understand that it’ll be worth the wait.

As soon as the book is ready for release there will be announcements on all my social media. A holiday release isn’t likely but if it happens then I won’t be upset about it. Even if it doesn’t there is something planned for this upcoming holiday and set to happen, more details this weekend about that. Until then thank you everyone who have continued to support me, buy my books and art prints, and helped the world of Eden grow. I plan to thank you all with one of the biggest and most impactful releases the series has ever had. That I do promise.

  1. Agree with the Capt’n Dreadnight and hope when the book comes out we get to see both Daniel and Daemon take their respective weapons and not only give the Gemini reception they will regret, but also deal with the other players they have yet to deal with especially Twilight and Aeon who think that no one is as devious or clever as themselves.
