Author’s Update

Hello everyone! It’s been long enough without any updates, so I wanted to break the silence and talk about everything that’s going on and what’s coming up.

First off, I hope everyone is enjoying the latest Eden book. And yes, as many might have noticed, it is the biggest entry in the series to date. In fact, it was so big, that when trying to upload the hardcover manuscript to Amazon, I actually hit the page limit and couldn’t do it until I made the font one size smaller to decrease the page count just enough. So yes, it is in fact the biggest Eden book out there, which brings up something I wanted to let readers know. I am going to try to keep future books from becoming so overwhelmingly large like this again. I want to keep the size more manageable and release the books more often rather than letting them build up to these huge volumes that aren’t released as frequently. I was tempted to split this book into two volumes and balance them out, however I really wanted to finish the current story arcs that were going on and didn’t want to keep them going into another volume. The characters need to move along to keep the story going, so I decided to end the current story arcs in this latest book, which meant some pretty big chapters to tell everything. So for those of you who like really big books, I hope you enjoy this one all the more. To those that prefer smaller entries, know that I’m going to work to keep the page count down in future books compared to this behemoth.

Next, something that readers may have noticed is that all my books are back to being Amazon exclusives, which means they are once again available for KindleUnlimited subscribers. The choice to remove them from the other markets was made due to a few factors. One, I hate having to exclude or censor illustrations like I’ve had to do through Draft2Digital’s publishers, I want to show off all the amazing artwork and characters this series has to offer. Two, managing so many publishing platforms and working on advertisements and book links for everything was rather difficult and time consuming. And three, the majority of readers do appear to be coming from Amazon, so from a marketing sense it would be easier to focus my advertisements and promos through one marketplace rather than juggling so many others for little gain. So as of now and moving forward into the foreseeable future, all book releases will be Amazon exclusives. Except for possibly audiobooks.

Speaking of audiobooks, there are some things in the works regarding that, but that’s going to be a dedicated post at a later date. For now, know that the prospect of turning the entire series into audiobooks hasn’t been abandoned and is still being explored.

Moving on to what’s coming up next in the series, I’m happy to announce I’ve already begun work on Chronicles of Eden: Hunters – Act II, and once that is done I have the storyboard for Chronicles of Eden: Season II – Act VI written up for what’s next in the mainline series. Make sure to check out the official Chronicles of Eden website for all updates and teasers.

And that’s all I’ve got for now. Thank you all for your continued support. There’s so much more to tell in this story, and I’m looking forward to sharing it with you all. Until next time, stay awesome, everyone!
